Digits of Pi Border 3
We’re on the home stretch now! Just one more border panel after this one. It feels kind of long just using beige and chocolate over and over, but I promise the final afghan is worth it. It’ll be such a fun conversation piece for math lovers and non-lovers alike.
Here’s another fun limerick to brighten your day from mathstory.com.
A cyclist in a bike race,
Pedaled ’til blue in the face,
If his wheels would roll more,
Than 3.14,
He wouldn’t be stuck in last place!
Okay, so it’s not quite accurate. For all you math gurus, the circumference of the bike wheel is the diameter * pi or d(3.14). You can change it if you like, maybe to “If his wheels would roll more, Than d 3 1 4.” That should do it.
If you know other great pi limericks, please share them with us in the Comments section. I love clever math puns and rhymes!

Digits of Pi Border Panel Instructions
This third Digits of Pi C2C crochet border panel is another long one! You’ll just need two colors for this border strip. For ease in reading it, the chart is 3 pages, with 3 rows of overlap between them.
