Digits of Pi Border 4
Last panel! Let’s get this one stitched and then get this blanket finished in time for Pi Day. Next week I’ll have instructions for the order in which to stitch everything together. I’ll also have instructions for the afghan edging. Wait ’til you see it! I think it’s a perfect fit. Look for all of that in the Fruit Pi C2C Crochet Afghan—Joining and Edging post.
Now for some final Pi limerick fun!
I call this one Pi Day Offerings.
Apple and lemon to try.
Strawberry and pumpkin, oh my!
Each sweet benefaction
Gives constant satisfaction
And pays homage on the altar to Pi!
And two from a household member who wants to remain uncredited.
The Infinite Pi
Go on and on numbers will
Even ’til the wide world will stand still
Never seeming to make
Any sense or to take
Any thought for the math which it fills.
The One True Constant
While trig and geometry vie
Calc and its numbers stand by.
Out of numbers in all
Those irrational
Will stand with the master, yes Pi!
If you know other great pi limericks, please share them with us in the Comments section. I love clever math puns and rhymes!
