The Nutcracker Suite Afghan Block 6

Every little girl who attends The Nutcracker dreams of being Clara, and this crochet block is for her. Clara receives a fabulous gift from her Uncle Drosselmeyer—a nutcracker doll. In her dreams the nutcracker comes alive and escorts Clara to the magical Land of the Sweets. She meets the Sugar Plum Fairy and other memorable characters.

I designed the Clara crochet block with my daughter JMoney in mind. The blue eyes and light brown, slightly reddish hair are hers. I had to pass on the ringlets and just give an impression of curly hair.
