Block #3 in the LEGO-Inspired Brick Face Family C2C Crochet Baby Afghan is Brick Face Daughter. She takes after Brick Face Mom in her femininity but this time with shorter eyelashes and a sweet rosebud mouth. Brick Face Daughter has just a few freckles emphasizing her youth and is crocheted on a pretty purple.

These blocks are so fun to stitch! Their bright LEGO-y colors give off a happy vibe. I am glad that throughout my kids’ lives LEGO has expanded their color base, especially among the traditionally “girl” colors. HDawg has loved collecting the Elves sets and the Friends sets. They have so many unique details and fun colors. Not to mention super cute animals! Everything from the typical cats and dogs to pandas and tigers and llamas. I suspect HDawg has requested a set or two based solely on the pet included with it.

Want to make a larger blanket? Look for the 12-block Brick Faces Afghan pattern at Swish and Stitch Crafts on Etsy.

  • Son/Boy
  • Mustache Man
  • Scared

Isn’t the LEGO-inspired Brick Daughter Crochet Block super cute! She reminds me of my daughter JMoney with the sprinkle of freckles. The next block will be Brick Face Son. See you in two weeks! Next week look for the Hermione Granger block — the second block in the Block of the Month Harry Potter Gryffindors Afghan!
