It’s finally here! The very last panel in The LOTR Fellowship of the Ring C2C Crochet Afghan! I hope you have loved this project and get many years of enjoyment from this blanket.
The Of the Ring C2C Crochet Border Panel is pretty straightforward. As with the previous border panel, you’ll notice that it has 77 squares instead of the 75 squares that are the equivalent of 3 blocks. This is because I am allowing for the brown sashing that we’ll be adding later around each square. If you don’t want sashing around each block (not recommended), then leave off one column on the right and left of the panel.
You can find the other The Fellowship of the Ring Afghan blocks and panels here:

- Gandalf
- Frodo Baggins
- Samwise Gamgee
- Aragorn
- Gimli
- Legolas
- Meriadoc (Merry) Brandybuck
- Peregrin (Pippin) Took

Once we’ve finished all the blocks, we’ll finish things up with The Fellowship of the Ring C2C Crochet Afghan—Joining and Edging.

Crochet the square starting from the bottom right corner of the chart. Row-by-row written instructions are below.
After you finish crocheting the block, crochet one row of single crochet in DUSTY GREEN around the entire block. See Adding a Single Crochet Edge around a Finished C2C Block for how I crochet around the edge.
